SYLLabus & class structure

Weeks 1-6

You will be in a group class for instruction and practice during these weeks. You will learn how to set up and tear down equipment, practice back-to-back tagging, and how to stream your set.

You will learn, then practice using advanced mixing techniques by mixing through different genres and BPMs while adding a variety of effects. We will introduce how to make your own edits, as well as other creative ways to make your sets sound more professional.

Week 7

To ensure you're confident for graduation, each student will get a chance to review their graduation set with an instructor and get direct feedback. We will also use day to finalize the details of your graduation event and prepare the equipment for transport. We call this LAB DAY and it's our secret weapon.

Lab Day sign-ups will be on a first come first served basis. The days available are Thursday through Sunday.

Week 8

Graduation Week! 🎉 This is your final exam.

As a class, you will plan and execute a graduation event. You will secure a date & venue, plan the set list, invite other talent if needed, and market the event.
